Results?.... They were a huge success! Fluffy, light and totally delicious! The flavor was sooo good. The kids and I ate ours with jam and butter, and I made Kale one with bacon, egg and cheese. He loved it!
With only 4 ingredients and how simple they were to make, this will be my go-to biscuit recipe from now on!
7-Up Biscuits
Recipe from: Plain Chicken
2 cups Bisquick
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup 7-Up soda (room temperature)
1/4 cup melted butter
Directions: Pour the Bisquick into a large bowl. Add in sour cream. Mix together. Pour in 7-Up, and stir until combined. The dough will be very soft.
Sprinkle another 1/2 cup of Bisquick onto a clean counter-top and gently pat dough out to desired thickness (about 1 inch)
Use a circle biscuit cutter and cut out biscuits. (You should get 9 total) Pour melted butter into a 9x9 pan. Place the biscuits into the pan, on top of the butter. Bake in a 450 degree oven, for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Serve!
